The Casa Castellana B&B Inn occupies a house that was built in the 1950's. The house has been the home of several prominent families. It was designed to be a comfortable retreat in the middle of the city. Caribbean breezes refresh the third floor terrace, and the surrounding shade trees shelter singing birds.
In 2004, the house was purchased by a new owner, but never occupied. The house remained on the market for five years until 2009, when it was bought by David and Natalia Richards, who became enchanted with the Spanish architecture, stained-glass windows, marble floors, and Roman tub in the master suite. The Richards decided to renovate the house, turning it to a bed and breakfast. They were contemplating retirement and a return to Puerto Rico from the States.
From individualized room decorations to a tropical environment, to peaceful terraces, to a delicious breakfast, the Casa Castellana B&B, will offer you a memorable experience. The owners pride themselves in taking care of their guests and making them feel at home, from the first moment they step into the Casa Castellana.
